The Most Exclusive Way to Own the Jody Clark Portrait Coin

To mark 100 years since the birth of Queen Elizabeth II, The Royal Mint concludes its Portraits of a Queen series with the Jody Clark effigy - the fifth and final definitive portrait to appear on UK coinage during Her Late Majesty's reign. Introduced in 2015, it became the last official coinage portrait of Queen Elizabeth II and remained in use until 2022.

Widely regarded as the defining portrait of the modern era, Clark's effigy presents Her Late Majesty wearing the George IV State Diadem, combining traditional artistry with innovative digital sculpting techniques. Personally approved by The Queen herself, the portrait went on to appear on billions of coins and became instantly recognisable around the world.

Now, for this centenary release, the design has been faithfully remastered by Royal Mint Chief Engraver Gordon Summers, preserving the elegance and dignity of the original portrait while refining its detail for a new generation of collectors. Set against a backdrop of finely engraved radial lines, the portrait is presented with striking depth and visual impact.

Struck from fine gold to the highest Proof standard, this exceptional issue is presented in a rare 1/10oz specification and housed in official Royal Mint presentation packaging.

With a strict worldwide edition limit of just 500 coins, and not available directly from The Royal Mint, this is one of the most exclusive releases within the Portraits of a Queen collection.

A fitting tribute to the final portrait of Britain's longest-reigning monarch - and an essential addition for collectors seeking the ultimate expression of Queen Elizabeth II's coinage legacy.
